Meet Emma — Founder of Emdecon
Emdecon Inc. was founded with a clear purpose: to provide professional, respectful cleanup services during some of life’s most difficult situations.
In 2022, I began my career in commercial cleaning, where I developed a strong foundation in precision, accountability, and consistency. After about a year, I launched my own residential and commercial cleaning business, focused on delivering exceptional results and ensuring that every space I worked in was left safe, clean, and cared for.
While that work was rewarding, I found myself drawn toward a deeper purpose. For me, cleaning has never been just about dust and dirt, it’s about restoring order, creating a sense of calm, and helping people feel at ease in their environments. Over time, I recognized there was an opportunity to extend those values into a field where they are needed most.
Tragic and overwhelming circumstances can leave individuals, families, and property owners unsure of where to turn next. Emdecon Inc. was created to be a steady, reliable presence during those moments. The name reflects that intention, “Em” representing both my name and empathy, and “Decon” referring to decontamination and restoration.
Today, Emdecon specializes in trauma, hoarding, and biohazard remediation across Eastern Ontario. Every project is approached with professionalism, discretion, and respect, guided by strict safety standards and clear communication. Our work focuses not only on restoring physical spaces but on easing the burden placed on those affected by difficult events.
I am deeply proud of the work we do and honoured to offer services that help people move forward. At its core, Emdecon exists to restore safety, dignity, and peace of mind, one space at a time.
