Emma Boone-Watt
Owner & Founder
Emma founded Emdecon after years of experience in the cleaning and remediation industry. She recognized a need for trauma and biohazard cleaning services delivered with compassion and dignity.
Emma leads the team with an empathy-first approach, ensuring every home and family is treated with respect during difficult circumstances.

Amanda Steele
Team Lead
Amanda brings over four years of experience in the biohazard and remediation field and plays a key role in many of our projects. She approaches every job with professionalism, care, and a deep respect for the families we serve. Amanda truly cares about people and understands how important it is to treat every home with compassion and dignity.
She also has a great sense of humour and a positive attitude that helps make even the toughest jobs feel a little lighter for the team.
Brittany Dool
Senior Technician
Brittany brings over four years of experience in the biohazard and remediation field and is a wonderful addition to the Emdecon team. She has a bubbly, positive attitude that helps create a supportive and uplifting environment on even the most challenging jobs. Brittany works hard, cares deeply about the work we do, and is always there to support her coworkers.
Her experience, reliability, and genuine kindness make her a valued part of the team and someone families can trust to treat their homes with care and respect.
Mia Ziegler
Intermediate Technician
Mia is a compassionate and dedicated member of the Emdecon team who approaches every job with care and empathy. She is passionate about helping people during difficult moments and takes pride in making a meaningful difference through her work. Mia brings a strong work ethic and a thoughtful approach to every project, always wanting to make sure the job is done right.
Outside of work, Mia is pursuing her goal of becoming a police officer, which reflects her strong desire to serve and support her community. Her kindness, determination, and commitment to helping others make her a valued part of the team.
Phoenix Lauzon-Zwicker
Junior Technician
Phoenix brings compassion, kindness, and a strong work ethic to the Emdecon team. She approaches every job with care and professionalism, always making sure families feel respected and supported during difficult situations. Phoenix works incredibly hard and takes pride in helping create a positive and supportive environment on every job site.
She also has a great sense of humour that helps lighten the mood during challenging work. Outside of work, Phoenix is passionate about powerlifting, which reflects the strength and determination she brings to everything she does.
Paige Sloan
Junior Technician
Paige is one of Emdecon’s hardworking weekend warriors and brings great energy to every job she joins. She is incredibly dedicated, dependable, and always ready to jump in and help wherever she’s needed. Paige approaches the work with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, making her a great support to the rest of the team.
Her sense of humour and easygoing personality help keep spirits high, even during demanding projects. Outside of work, Paige enjoys listening to metal music, which reflects the bold energy she brings to everything she does.
Mike Watt
Director of Reconstruction Services
Mike brings many years of experience in the cleaning and maintenance industry and supports Emdecon through the rebuild and repair side of projects. While he doesn’t typically work alongside the remediation team on job sites, Mike steps in independently to assist with rebuilds and property repairs when a space needs to be restored after cleanup. His practical knowledge, attention to detail, and strong work ethic help ensure homes are safe and ready to move forward after difficult situations.
Outside of work, Mike spends much of his time renovating his own home and tackling hands-on projects; something he genuinely enjoys. He’s also proud to support his daughter Emma and the company she has built, making Emdecon not just a team, but a family effort.
