From my first conversation with Emma, the owner, I was met with exceptional kindness and patience. She arranged for her team to arrive the very next morning. Amanda and Lisa reached out beforehand to offer their condolences, listened to my concerns, and handled everything with incredible care and professionalism. Knowing I needed to choose a suit for my dad, they thoughtfully took out his suits and hung them on a rack so I could easily choose one while the ozone treatment helped with any lingering odour. When they returned the following morning, they provided us with protective equipment and even brought flowers and a condolence card. Their compassion extended to the smallest details, including waiting until after my dad’s funeral to send the invoice, giving us the space to grieve without immediately worrying about payment. Emdecon brought humanity to a service no family ever wants to need. Every gesture reminded us what it means to be treated with genuine compassion during one of life’s darkest moments. They did an excellent job dealing with a very difficult and heavily contaminated property that required extensive cleaning, odour remediation, and selective demolition. Emdecon Inc provided us with five star outstanding service during a very stressful time when we had a flood in our basement on Canada day. They came to our rescue quickly and they had a very professional polite and reassuring team that was very thorough and helped turn a nightmare situation into a manageable one. They dealt with the removal of paneling, drywall, insulation, etc, decontaminated and disinfected all the affected areas and set up equipment including HEPA air scrubbers. They treated our home with respect, leaving it clean when they left. They were also very reasonably priced. We were very happy with the services provided to us relating to the flood.
